Due to landscaping works in Yunusobod district of Tashkent city, the entire perimeter of the Amir Temur Avenue area will be temporarily closed from March 23rd to April 7th (inclusive). This was reported by the press service of the Tashkent city administration.

 

It is reported that these restrictions apply only to the avenue area and the square bounded by Mahtumquli, Istikbol, Sayilgoh streets, and Amir Temur and Mustaqillik avenues.

 

The capital's administration stated that during the landscaping works, pedestrian walkways will be repaired and partially renewed, and the engineering communications and irrigation system in the area will be modernized. 

 

At the same time, the administration added that the avenue area will be landscaped, additional saplings will be planted, the updated irrigation system will ensure efficient watering of existing green areas and will implement rational water use.

 

According to the report, not a single existing tree will be damaged during the ongoing works. Vehicle traffic will continue as usual on the connecting streets, and the possibility of parking along the road will be preserved. 

 

Furthermore, the exit routes from metro stations leading to the avenue will be temporarily closed.
