The price of gold bars in Uzbekistan has sharply declined.
As of March 24, the price of one gram of gold was 1,801,200 soums.

Against the backdrop of falling gold prices in the global market, the price of gold bars has also decreased in Uzbekistan. The Central Bank of Uzbekistan reported this.
As of March 24, the price of one gram of gold amounted to 1,801,200 soums. Also, the price of a 5-gram gold bar has fallen to around 9 million soums.
The new prices set by the Central Bank are as follows:
• 5 grams — 9 million 6 thousand soums;
• 10 grams — 18 million 13 thousand soums;
• 20 grams — 36 million 25 thousand soums;
• 50 grams — 90 million 63 thousand soums;
• 100 grams — 180 million 126 thousand soums;
At the same time, the repurchase prices for gold bars are determined based on the integrity of their packaging or compliance with technical requirements.
For reference, on January 26, the price of a 5-gram gold bar exceeded 10 million soums for the first time. On January 29, it set a record for the eighth consecutive time, rising above 10.8 million soums. Later, prices began to decline.
Gold is also becoming cheaper in the global market. On March 23, the price of gold futures on the COMEX exchange fell below $4,200 per ounce for the first time since December 9, 2025. As of March 24, this indicator was around $4,300.
