In an investigation targeting prominent individuals in Istanbul related to narcotics, 14 suspects were apprehended. TRT Haber reported this based on official sources.

 

According to the report, among those arrested are businessmen Fikret Orman and Burak Elmas.

 

A statement from the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office stated that an investigation has been initiated against these individuals with the aim of protecting the general morality of society, its social structure, and family order.

 

Upon analyzing the conducted operations and collected evidence, an arrest order was issued for 16 suspects accused of possessing narcotic substances for consumption or contributing to their distribution.

 

Within the scope of the investigation, personnel from the Istanbul Anti-Narcotics Crime Department conducted simultaneous operations at 16 addresses to apprehend the suspects. As a result, 14 people were arrested, and 2 people have been placed on a wanted list.

 

Furthermore, the individuals for whom arrest orders were issued within the scope of the investigation are as follows:
