A drone crashes in western Kazakhstan.
The drone was found near a residential area.

Local residents found a crashed unmanned aerial vehicle near the village of Karaultobe in the West Kazakhstan region. This was reported by Kazinform.
According to police information, investigative measures are currently being carried out regarding the discovery of objects resembling the remains of a drone in the village area. This object was found outside the populated area, and the details of the incident are being studied.
Such cases have been observed in this area before. In February-March 2025, unidentified unmanned aerial vehicles were found in several districts of West Kazakhstan. Following this, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan took additional measures to strengthen airspace control.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan stated that over 90% of such drones correspond to the territory of the 926th Main Flight Test Center range in Russia. This area and its airspace are used by Russia for tests.
