Citizens of Uzbekistan will be recruited for seasonal work in Italy.
Within the framework of the Pilot project, 100 Uzbekistanis were provided with employment.

Uzbek citizens will be recruited for work in Italy's agricultural sector. This was reported by the Migration Agency.
It is reported that a meeting was held with the participation of the Head of the Migration Agency, Behzod Musayev, the Minister of Agriculture, Ibrohim Abdurahmonov, the Italian Minister of Agriculture, Francesco Lollobrigida, as well as the Vice President of the Confagricoltura organization, Luca Brondelli.
During this meeting, an agreement was reached on attracting Uzbek citizens to work in Italy's agricultural sector.
Furthermore, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Migration Agency and Italy's "Associazione Imprese Ortofrutticole" organization.
According to this agreement, Uzbek citizens will be recruited for seasonal work in Italy lasting from 3 to 9 months.
The Associazione Imprese Ortofrutticole association unites more than 35 major companies in Italy's fruit and vegetable sector, covering the entire agro-industrial chain from farming to processing, logistics, and export. Its main products include fruits such as apples, kiwis, pomegranates, and strawberries.
The association's president, Marco Salvi, stated that within the framework of a pilot project this year, they are ready to provide jobs for 100 Uzbek citizens.
Previously, it was reported that Uzbek citizens would be recruited for seasonal agricultural work in the USA lasting 9–10 months, with an average monthly salary of $3,500.
