It has been determined that more than 100 trees were illegally transplanted in Tashkent.
It has been revealed that damage amounting to 881 million 268 thousand soums was caused to nature.

An investigation has been conducted regarding the illegal transplantation of 108 trees in the area of Abu Ali ibn Sino Street in the "Yunona" neighborhood of Shayxontohur district, Tashkent city. The National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change reported on this.
It was reported that during the investigation, it was determined that 107 trees, namely 12 juniper (archa) trees and 95 Eldor pine trees, had dried up.
According to the report, an application was made to the Tashkent City Ecology Department regarding the transplantation of these trees, and the department responded with a refusal. Despite this, the trees were transplanted illegally.
As a result of the violation, it was found that damage to nature amounting to 881 million 268 thousand soums had been caused, in accordance with Resolution No. 464 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 22, 2022, "On further improving the procedure for planting, maintaining, and using trees and shrubs not included in the state forest fund."
Documents collected on the case are being prepared for submission to law enforcement agencies.
