Starting from May 1st, "Car-Free Day" and "Car-Free Week" campaigns will be held on the 10th and 25th of each month. This was reported by the "Huquqiy axborot" Telegram channel.

 

It is noted that within the framework of the "Car-Free Day" and "Car-Free Week" campaigns, the use of official vehicles is strictly prohibited for state civil servants.

 

If these dates fall on working days, drivers' salaries will be preserved.

 

Starting from August 1, 2026, as part of the "trade-in" program, individuals and legal entities who hand over old vehicles will be compensated for a portion of the auto loan interest for purchasing new vehicles.

 

By the end of 2026, as part of the "Ecological Transport" system, the territory of Tashkent city will be divided into "red," "yellow," and "green" zones.

 

Furthermore, starting from April 1, 2026, the construction of "green walls" will begin in Surkhandarya and Syrdarya regions to prevent dust storms.
