Another ballistic missile was launched from Iran to Turkey.

The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced on March 30 that a ballistic missile launched from Iran had been intercepted upon entering the country's airspace.

According to official information, this is the fourth missile directed towards Turkey since the start of the military conflict in the Middle East. As in previous cases, it was reported that all projectiles were neutralized.

The ministry's statement emphasized that the ballistic missiles, launched by Iran and determined to have entered Turkish airspace, were destroyed by NATO air and missile defense forces deployed in the eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea.

NATO spokesperson Allison Hart also confirmed this information, stating that the alliance had neutralized the latest threat.

"On March 30, NATO successfully shot down another Iranian ballistic missile heading towards Turkey. The alliance is always ready and takes necessary measures to protect all allies," she said.

Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that the country would avoid being drawn into the military conflict. Iran's embassy in Turkey denied Tehran's involvement behind the four launched missiles and proposed forming a joint investigation group to examine the incidents.

It was reported that Iran first launched a missile towards Turkey on March 4, which entered the country via Iraqi and Syrian airspace. At that time, NATO systems also shot down the missile.

On March 9, a second missile was destroyed upon entering Turkish airspace; its debris fell near the city of Gaziantep, with no casualties reported.

On March 13, a third ballistic missile launched was also shot down by NATO's air defense system.

Turkish officials have emphasized that the country adheres to the principles of "good neighborliness" and supports regional stability, while also stating that necessary measures will be taken against any threat directed at its territory.
