Starting from April 1, bicycle and scooter traffic will be stopped in the Botanical Garden in Tashkent.
The park administration cited an increase in incidents related to visitors falling and getting injured as the reason for this.

The administration of the Tashkent Botanical Garden has announced a decision to prohibit the movement of bicycles and scooters within the garden area to ensure visitor safety.
According to the garden administration, there has been a recent increase in incidents involving citizens falling and sustaining various degrees of bodily injury while riding bicycles and scooters in the garden area.
Furthermore, it was noted that numerous appeals and suggestions on this matter have been received from visitors.
Therefore, based on the decision of the Scientific Council and the numerous appeals from visitors, the movement of all types of bicycles and scooters within the Botanical Garden area will be halted starting April 1, 2026.
The administration emphasized that this measure is being implemented to create a safe, peaceful, and quiet environment for walking in the garden and to preserve the opportunity to calmly enjoy the beauty of nature.
The garden management asked visitors to comply with this regulation and pay attention to their own safety and the safety of those around them.
