The Iranian government announced that it will mobilize all its capabilities to respond to any aggression in order to protect its sovereignty and security.
The United States and Israel have targeted 600 educational institutions and 93,233 non-military facilities in Iran over the course of a month. As of March 28, 281 school students and teachers have been killed, and the number of injured women has reached 4,000. This was reported by the press service of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Uzbekistan.
The US and Israel had planned to overthrow the political regime in Iran and quickly end the war. However, the US and Israeli governments did not expect the responses from Iran, and the war has been ongoing for over a month.
"The US and Israel launched an illegal attack on Islamic Iran with a clear miscalculation that they could break the will of the Iranian people. Due to the vigilance of the Iranian armed forces and the resilient resistance of the people, they have not achieved their declared goals for over a month. On the contrary, the weakness, helplessness, and incapacity of these two invading regimes are being exposed day by day before the eyes of the entire world," the Embassy's statement said.
According to reports, the US and Israel have attacked 370 hospitals and emergency medical centers in Iran, as well as 43 ambulances.
The statement notes that Iran is defending itself in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter. The Embassy stated that it has mobilized all its capabilities to respond to such aggression in order to protect the country's sovereignty and security.
In the face of this blatant aggression, Iran is exercising its legitimate right to self-defense as outlined in Article 51 of the UN Charter. Our country's armed forces, having mobilized all capabilities, are responding to this aggression and defending their security and national sovereignty.
"Once again reminding of the role of states responsible for maintaining international peace and security, we call on these states to openly condemn these acts of aggression based on the UN Charter and the fundamental principles of international law, and to play their part in upholding international law and order," the Embassy's message stated.
According to the Embassy's statement, Iran has not engaged in any negotiations or dialogue with the US to date.
