Three clandestine laboratories producing counterfeit medicines were identified in Andijan.
Laboratory found medicines worth 1.1 billion soums, totaling over 60,000 units of 122 different types.

The illegal storage of unguaranteed quality medicines posing serious risks to public health has been exposed in Andijan region. The SSS reported on this.
It was reported that 3 citizens residing in Andijan city and Asaka district were engaged in preparing counterfeit and unguaranteed quality medical drugs in their residential homes.
During inspections, it was discovered that there were specially equipped illegal laboratories at these addresses, and over 60,000 medical drugs of 122 types, with a total value of 1.1 billion soums, were seized as material evidence.
According to preliminary information, these products were illegally imported from the Kyrgyz Republic, with some being semi-finished and others being in a processed state.
Experts emphasized that these medicines could pose a serious threat to human health.
Currently, investigative actions are being carried out regarding the identified case.
