A decree on the establishment of the Presidential Public Reception Office under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan has been signed

 

According to the decree, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, as well as the khokims of regions and the city of Tashkent, districts (cities) will lead the relevant Public Reception Offices on a public basis. They will regularly receive citizens, take measures to resolve their problems on the spot, and conduct analysis of appeals.

 

The heads of ministries and agencies, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, and regional and city khokims will make presentations before the President and submit separate reports on systemic problems in public appeals and their solutions.

 

Furthermore, a control time regime will be established for appeals received through the information system of the Virtual Reception Office of the President of Uzbekistan, whereby appeals whose review period has expired are automatically transferred to a higher state body for execution.

 

The practice of categorizing appeals as "urgent," "regular," or "requiring consultation" upon their receipt in this reception office's information system will be introduced. Appeals returned for control will be re-examined by higher bodies within 3 working days.

 

A procedure will be introduced for hearing reports from heads of state bodies and organizations on work with public appeals in the Legislative Chamber and the Senate at least once a quarter, and reports from khokims and heads of local state bodies and organizations in the Senate or local councils, respectively.

 

Information services of state bodies and organizations, in cooperation with Public Reception Offices, will cover the state of work with appeals in the territory. In addition, they will study complaints regarding the review of appeals in mass media and social networks, and this will be reflected in indicators of their activity's effectiveness.

 

Personal and mobile receptions conducted by state bodies and organizations, as well as local khokimiyats, will be fully digitized, and control over the reception process will be established.

 

Collective appeals will be studied with the participation of public representatives and the "mahalla seven," and will be taken under control based on their consent.
