The risk of avalanches has been announced in the mountainous regions of Uzbekistan.
Rainfall and temperature changes are expected on April 4–8.

Due to expected precipitation and temperature changes from April 4th to 8th, the risk of avalanches has been announced in several mountainous areas of the republic. This was reported by "Uzhydromet".
It is reported that the risk of avalanches will persist in areas above 2000 meters above sea level, including:
• Kashkadarya region: Kitob, Shahrisabz districts;
• Surkhandarya region: Boysun, Sariosiyo, Uzun districts;
• Samarkand region: Samarkand, Urgut districts;
• Jizzakh region: Baxmal, Zomin districts;
• Tashkent region: Bostanlyk, Parkent, Ohangaron districts (Chatkal mountain range);
• Namangan region: The risk of avalanches is announced in the Pop district.
Experts are calling on the population living in mountainous areas, vacationers, and drivers traveling in these areas to be cautious.
