In Uzbekistan, it was found that pharmacies received 8.5 billion soums in unjustified income.
These funds have been returned for the benefit of consumers.

Cases of unjustified price increases for medicines have been identified. The Competition Committee reported on this.
It is reported that violations regarding the increase of established limited trade markups on medicines have been identified within the Tax authority system, and a reporting system to the Committee's "Fair tech" unified information system has been launched.
It is noted that in 2025-2026, measures are being taken in a prescribed sequence regarding reports received by the Committee's "Fair tech" unified information system.
During the review of appeals, it was found that 991 pharmacies (152 wholesale and 839 retail) had unjustly earned 8.5 billion soums in 414,305 cases. Recalculation work has been carried out in favor of consumers regarding these funds, and measures have been taken to restore their rights.
Furthermore, materials regarding cases of violation of licensing requirements have been submitted to the Center for Pharmaceutical Product Safety.
In 2025-2026:
• The licenses of "FARM EFFEKT" LLC;
• "PHARMA BREND" LLC;
• "GIPOFIZ FARM" LLC;
• "MAXSUDBEK BIZNES" FE;
• "THE GREAT FARM" LLC;
• "MEDEX GROUP PH" LLC have been revoked for increasing medicine prices.
The Committee informs that control measures in this direction will continue. Appropriate measures will be taken against pharmacies violating legislative requirements, and their list will be publicly announced.
