At least 8 people were killed as a result of an earthquake that occurred on April 3 in northern Afghanistan and western Pakistan. 

 

It was reported that a 5.9 magnitude earthquake occurred on Friday evening in the northern part of Afghanistan and the western regions of Pakistan. According to official reports, at least eight people were killed in Kabul city.

 

The earthquake's epicenter was located in the Hindu Kush mountain range, approximately 150 kilometers east of Kunduz city in Afghanistan, and tremors were felt throughout Afghanistan, as well as in parts of Pakistan, India, and Uzbekistan.

 

According to data from Germany's Geoforschungszentrum (GFZ), the earthquake occurred at a depth of 177 kilometers (110 miles).

 

According to Hafizullah Basharat, the press secretary of the Kabul provincial governor, eight members of a family were killed and one child was injured due to a house collapse on the outskirts of Kabul.
