Head of Iranian intelligence killed
Israel accused Majid Hademi of involvement in strikes against civilians.

The head of the intelligence unit of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Major General Majid Khademi, has been confirmed killed. This was reported by the IRGC press service.
It is reported that on April 6, Iran officially confirmed the death of Majid Khademi, head of the IRGC intelligence unit. According to the Corps, he was killed in the early morning. However, no other details regarding his death were provided.
It is emphasized that Khademi was appointed head of IRGC intelligence in mid-June 2025, following the death of his predecessor in the position, Mohammad Kazimi, as a result of an Israeli strike on an intelligence building in Tehran.
Furthermore, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that he had received information from the Chief of Staff about Khademi being killed by the Israeli army. According to Katz, the general was directly responsible for deadly missile strikes against Israel's civilian population.
"The IRGC is shooting at civilians, and we are eliminating terrorist leaders," said Katz.
"The Iranian leadership feels like it is in the crosshairs. We will continue to hunt them down and eliminate them one by one," promised the Israeli Defense Minister.
Katz emphasized that Israel has also inflicted "serious damage" on Iran's steel production and petrochemical industry, and will continue actions to destroy Iran's national infrastructure and weaken the regime's power.
In addition, the Israeli official promised to directly target the Iranian leadership and eliminate them one by one.
