Information on VAT refunded to the tourism and general catering sectors since the beginning of the year has been announced.
The main share of the refunded VAT went to the general catering enterprise.
Since the beginning of the year, 32.3 billion soums of VAT have been refunded to tourism, public catering, and certain agricultural enterprises. The Tax Committee reported this.
It is noted that a portion of the VAT paid to the budget has been refunded to entrepreneurs in the tourism, public catering, and certain agricultural sectors.
As of April 6, 2026:
• To 15 tour operators – 273.1 million soums;
• To 99 hotels – 1.6 billion soums;
• To 587 public catering establishments – 25.6 billion soums;
• To 28 livestock and poultry farms – 1.1 billion soums;
• To 111 jewelry enterprises – 3.7 billion soums of VAT have been allocated.
Value-added tax is being refunded with the aim of supporting entrepreneurship and reducing the tax burden.
