Privileges for opening foreign language learning centers in Uzbekistan will be expanded.

The scope of preferential conditions for establishing foreign language specialized educational centers in Uzbekistan will be expanded. This was reported by the "Huquqiy axborot" Telegram channel.

According to the document, a register of "spin-off" companies based on new developments will be introduced. The benefits and preferences outlined in Presidential Decree No. PF-5099 dated June 30, 2017, will be applied to enterprises included in the register that have launched production based on patented scientific research results, as well as to their employees.

Furthermore, companies operating based on non-patented scientific developments will pay profit tax at a rate reduced by 50 percent from the current rate from May 1, 2026, to May 1, 2029.

In accordance with the decree, starting from May 1, 2026, part of the costs for experimental work on developments created as a result of fundamental, applied, and innovative projects implemented by scientists and entrepreneurs within the framework of state scientific programs will be covered from the Fund for Financing Science and Supporting Innovations.

In addition, the preferential conditions provided for opening educational centers in remote and hard-to-reach areas are being expanded for young people who have a national or international certificate of at least C1 level in a foreign language.

Now, such interest-free loans will also be provided to individuals over 30 years of age. These loans are allocated for a term of 3 years with a 6-month grace period, up to 320 times the base calculation amount.
