It has been reported that missile and drone attacks have been carried out on the territories of the UAE, Kuwait, and Bahrain.

Attacks continue even after the US and Iran reached a peace agreement.

Despite a two-week ceasefire announced between Iran and the US in the Gulf region, several countries have reported missile and drone attacks on their territories, reports Al Jazeera.

According to the UAE Ministry of Defence, the country's air defence systems intercepted ballistic and cruise missiles as well as drones launched by Iran. The sounds of explosions heard in various parts of the country were noted to be related to these interception processes.

The Kuwaiti army also reported that a total of 28 drones had been destroyed since the morning. It was reported that some of the drones targeted vital oil facilities, power stations, and water desalination plants.

The Bahraini Ministry of Interior reported that two citizens sustained minor injuries from falling debris when a drone was intercepted in the Sitra area.

Additionally, several homes were damaged. Explosion sounds were heard in the capital Manama, and smoke was seen rising over Sitra Island.

Meanwhile, Iran has not yet officially commented on these claims. However, the country's state television reported that an oil refinery on Lavan Island was also attacked. It is said that firefighting efforts are underway and there are no casualties.

The ceasefire between Washington and Tehran was announced by US President Donald Trump just one hour before a deadline given to Iran was set to expire.
