A teacher at a private kindergarten in Navoi city was fired and the institution was temporarily closed for mistreating and hitting children. The Navoi Regional Preschool and School Education Department reported on this.

 

Videos circulating on social networks show the teacher shouting at children, pushing, hitting, and kicking them.

 

According to the Navoi Regional Preschool and School Education Department, the incident was thoroughly investigated by a working group established under the department.

 

Based on the inspection results, the employment contract with the teacher, who acted contrary to pedagogical ethics and professional standards, was terminated in accordance with current legislation.

 

Furthermore, the educational institution's activities were temporarily suspended in accordance with the procedure established by law.

 

Additional investigative work regarding the situation has begun in accordance with the relevant procedures.
