The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has departed for the city of Bukhara. This was reported by the President's press service.
It is reported that on April 11, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will be in Uzbekistan on a working visit.
Within the framework of the visit, high-level talks will be held in Bukhara. They will discuss issues of further developing Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan relations of friendship, strategic partnership, and alliance.
Special attention will be paid to strengthening political dialogue, inter-parliamentary, intergovernmental, and interregional ties.
Furthermore, the leaders will discuss increasing trade turnover, deepening industrial cooperation, advancing joint projects and programs in transport, energy, water, and ecology, as well as activating cultural and humanitarian exchange.
Views will also be exchanged on issues of the international and regional agenda.
It is planned to jointly visit historical monuments and get acquainted with the activities of industrial enterprises and a product exhibition.
Today, the head of our state will familiarize himself with the work being carried out and prospective projects for the socio-economic development of the Bukhara region.
