Admission processes are carried out step by step through online platforms.

The admission procedure for the 1st grade for the 2026–2027 academic year has been approved.

By the relevant order of the Minister of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan, the procedure for organizing the admission process to the 1st grade of general secondary education schools for the 2026–2027 academic year has been approved.

According to the document, the number of districts (cities) where the state service for admission to the 1st grade will be introduced has been increased from 64 to 135, and the number of general secondary education schools from 1,956 to 5,689.

It is noted that for the 2026–2027 academic year, the admission process to the 1st grade of state general secondary education schools will be carried out through the Unified Interactive State Services Portal (my.gov.uz) and the electronic portal of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education (my.maktab.uz).

The admission process is scheduled to be carried out within micro-districts from June 20 to July 31, 2026, and from August 1 to 31 for areas outside the micro-district.

According to the current procedure, children are admitted to the 1st grade in the year they turn 7 years old. Accordingly, for the 2026–2027 academic year, children born on or before December 31, 2019, will be admitted to school.

Furthermore, in areas where the state service has not been introduced, the admission process will be carried out in the traditional manner by school principals. Information about admitted students will be entered into the ministry's electronic system adm.maktab.uz.

According to the ministry, all information related to the admission process—including the admission plan, deadlines, micro-districts, and requirements for other language classes—will be posted in visible locations on school premises.

It is strictly stipulated that no additional admissions will be allowed for micro-districts or other areas after the admission deadline.

Additionally, based on the information about children admitted to the 1st grade by August 10, 2026, it is planned to deliver Presidential gifts consisting of 12 types of educational supplies. These supplies are scheduled to be distributed to schools by August 20.
