It is reported that a woman born in 1982, residing in Yangiyol city, Tashkent region, planned to take a girl born in 2000, living in Chinaz district, abroad for sexual exploitation.

 

She purchased an airline ticket for the victim and later demanded that the victim continuously give her half of the income she would earn.

 

As a result of urgent measures, the suspect woman was detained at Tashkent International Airport while she and the victim were about to fly to Istanbul.

 

Regarding this case, a criminal case has been initiated against the woman under Article 135 of the Criminal Code (human trafficking), and investigative actions are currently underway.

 

Previously, it was reported that a woman living in Fergana region was also apprehended after planning to send a girl to Izmir, Turkey, for prostitution by deceiving her with promises of high-paying work.
