$20,000 opium: Two individuals detained in Fergana
Two individuals who attempted to sell 1 kilogram of opium narcotic substance were detained in Yozyovon district.
Two individuals who tried to sell 1 kilogram of opium narcotic substance for 20 thousand dollars were detained in Yozyovon district of Fergana region. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported this.
It is reported that a citizen born in 1981 in Andijan region, together with his partner born in 1998, tried to sell the narcotic substance. They were detained during a rapid operation conducted in cooperation with employees of the Internal Affairs and other law enforcement structures.
According to the ministry, the total value on the black market of the narcotic substances whose illegal circulation was prevented amounts to 240 million soums.
Regarding the case, a criminal case has been initiated by the investigation department under the Kokand city Internal Affairs Directorate based on Article 273 of the Criminal Code.
Currently, preliminary investigation actions are being carried out.
