It is reported that the earthquake's epicenter was located in the Badakhshan region, with a magnitude of 5.5. The earthquake's focus occurred at a depth of 150 kilometers. The epicenter is located 537 kilometers southeast of Tashkent city.

 

The earthquake's force was also felt in a number of regions of Uzbekistan. In particular, tremors of 2-3 points were recorded in Surkhandarya region, and 2-point tremors were recorded in Fergana, Jizzakh, Samarkand, Syrdarya, Kashkadarya, Andijan, Namangan, and Tashkent regions, as well as in Tashkent city.
