In the Syrdarya region, the director of a state preschool educational institution was caught taking a bribe. The regional Department of Internal Affairs reported this.
According to the report, the director promised to arrange a job and demanded 2.5 million soums from a citizen.
She first received 200,000 soums via a plastic card. Then, while receiving the remaining 2 million 300 thousand soums, she was caught during an operational operation.
Currently, documents regarding the incident are being formalized, and investigative work is underway.
Earlier, it was reported that a school principal in Surkhandarya was sentenced to 4 years in prison for taking a bribe of 2 million soums.
