"Ziroat Mirziyoyeva is a leader in the fight against childhood cancer" — WHO chief
During a joint visit to the Republican Children's Oncology Center in Tashkent, he highly praised the activities of the "Zamin" foundation.

WHO Director-General Tedros Ghebreyesus recognized Uzbekistan's First Lady Ziroat Mirziyoyeva as a leader in the fight against childhood cancer in a statement.

During their joint visit to the Republican Children's Oncology Center in Tashkent, he highly praised the activities of the "Zamin" Foundation, chaired by Ziroat Mirziyoyeva.

Tedros Ghebreyesus noted that under the leadership of the First Lady, the Foundation plays a crucial role in broadly improving medical services in the field of pediatric oncology and creating a unique network of "Mehrli maktab" hospital-schools across the entire country.

Through Ziroat Mirziyoyeva's initiative, the efforts of doctors and educators were united towards a single goal. Now, children with oncological diseases receive care based on a comprehensive approach: they not only receive modern treatments but also the continuous education and social support necessary for their recovery and full life.
