A woman who deceived 4 girls in Tashkent and was taking one of them to Dubai was detained at the airport. The State Security Service reported this.
According to the information, a woman born in 2002 in the Bo'stonliq district of Tashkent region, who was a member of a criminal group involved in sending girls abroad for sexual exploitation, was stopped at Tashkent International Airport while she had deceived 4 girls and was taking one of them with her to Dubai.
In connection with the situation, a criminal case was initiated against her under Article 135 (human trafficking) Part 2, clause "z" of the Criminal Code, and the preventive measure of "detention" was applied. Investigative actions are currently underway.
According to current legislation, this type of crime carries a penalty of imprisonment for a term of 5 to 10 years.
