Uzbek boxer Navbahor Khamidova has once again achieved a high result at the World Boxing Cup being held in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil. The Uzbekistan Boxing Federation reported this.
According to the report, Khamidova, who entered the ring in the semi-final stage of the -65 kg weight category, defeated England's Sasha Hickey with a score of 3:2, securing a spot in the final.
In the decisive bout, she fought confidently against Kazakhstan's Aida Abikeyeva, winning with a complete dominance of 5:0 and becoming the tournament champion.
It is noted that Navbahor Khamidova had previously won a gold medal at the World Boxing Cup held in Astana in 2025. In that final, she defeated the famous Turkish boxer and Olympic champion Busenaz Sürmeneli.
Thus, Khamidova has cemented her name in the history of this competition as a two-time champion.
