«Al-Nassr» is coming to Tashkent: is Ronaldo on the roster?

Saudi Arabia's «Al-Nassr» club has traveled to Tashkent for the match against «Pakhtakor» within the AFC Champions League Elite tournament. However, team leader Cristiano Ronaldo was not included in the list of players selected for this trip.

According to the Saudi publication Arriyadiyah, the «Al-Nassr» delegation flew to the Uzbek capital on October 31 from Al-Ahsa International Airport on a private plane.

It has been reported that team head coach Ange Postecoglou decided not to bring Cristiano Ronaldo, along with Muhammad Simakan and Kingsley Coman, to Tashkent. Thus, the three players will miss the match against «Pakhtakor».

It is worth noting that it was previously reported that Kingsley Coman had returned to general group training despite sustaining an injury in the match against «Neftchi». Muhammad Simakan had also recovered from his injury and was ready to take the field.

For the match in Tashkent, Postecoglou has included Abdulrahman Sufyani, goalkeepers Abdulhadi Al-Alwan and Abdulrahman Al-Utaibi, as well as Rakan Al-Ghamdi and Awad Aman in the squad.

We remind you that «Al-Nassr» defeated «Al-Kholood» 5:3 in the last round of the Saudi Arabian championship. In that match, Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick, while Joao Felix provided four assists.

In the West region of the AFC Champions League Elite tournament, «Al-Nassr» has so far recorded one win and one loss, sitting in 9th place with 3 points. The team's 3rd round match against the UAE's «Al-Wasl» club has been postponed to another date.

The match between «Pakhtakor» and «Al-Nassr» will take place on November 2 at the «Pakhtakor» Central Stadium in Tashkent.

After the match in Tashkent, the Saudi club will head directly to the Al-Qassim region. There, the team will face «Al-Hazm» on November 6 in the national championship.
