In Sirdarya, a woman in an unofficial marriage stabbed and killed her husband's legal wife and daughter.

A severe crime in the city of Shirin, Syrdarya region, resulted in the death of a woman and her 5-year-old daughter, while another 3-year-old girl was hospitalized in critical condition. Kun.uz reported this.

According to information, the incident occurred late on April 29. While a woman born in 1997 was busy with household chores in her home, her husband's religiously wedded wife — 29-year-old N.X. — entered the house and attacked her and her two children with a knife. The suspect then fled the scene.

As a result of the attack, the woman and her 5-year-old daughter died at the scene. The 3-year-old girl was taken to the hospital in critical condition and is currently in the intensive care unit.

Relatives of the deceased reported that the woman had come as a bride to Syrdarya from Bekabad, Tashkent region.

"That woman had repeatedly gone to my son-in-law and said, 'I will kill your wife.' My son-in-law said, 'You can't do it.' Look what happened, I lost my daughter and granddaughter. My daughter had four children. An 8-year-old son and a 20-day-old baby remain.

My granddaughter in the hospital is also in critical condition. I ask the relevant organizations to place them under our care," said the woman's father.

"That day, my sister was at home doing laundry. That woman went and attacked with a knife. Hearing the screams, her two daughters ran out of the house. She also stabbed them," said the deceased's niece.

According to the press secretary of the Prosecutor General, Hayot Shamsutdinov, a criminal case has been initiated by the Syrdarya Regional Department for Investigating Serious Crimes under Article 97 (premeditated murder), Part 2, clauses "a, v, j" of the Criminal Code regarding the incident.
