In Namangan, 2 people were caught selling counterfeit dollars.
They wanted to sell counterfeit $10,000 bills for a real $7,500.

A crime related to counterfeit currency trading has been uncovered in Namangan region. This was reported to Zamon.uz by the State Security Service (SSS).
According to the information, during an operational event conducted by responsible officers in Chust district, it was established that two citizens — a person born in 1984, residing in Yangi Namangan district, and a person born in 1980, previously convicted, residing in Chust district — had conspired and engaged in criminal activity.
They were apprehended while attempting to sell counterfeit money in the amount of 10,000 US dollars, brought from abroad, to a conditional buyer for 7,500 genuine US dollars.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident, and investigative actions are currently underway.
