A 26-year-old man died in a traffic accident in Tashkent.

A road traffic accident in the Sergeli district of Tashkent city resulted in the death of one person. The Department of Road Safety of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate reported this.

 

 According to the report, the incident occurred on May 22 at around 1:00 PM near house 60 on Fayzli Toshkent Street in the Sergeli district.

 

A Nexia-3 car driven by O.B., born in 2001, was moving at high speed when the driver lost control and crashed into a concrete pole on the roadside.

 

As a result of the accident, the car's passenger — I.X., born in 2000 — sustained severe bodily injuries and died at the scene. The driver was given first aid.

 

In connection with this incident, the Investigation Department of the Tashkent City Main Internal Affairs Directorate has initiated a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code. Investigative actions are currently underway.

 

The Tashkent City Department of Road Safety of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate called on all drivers and road users to strictly adhere to traffic rules and expressed condolences to the relatives of the deceased.
