A driver who drove a Tesla at a speed of 214 km/h in Tashkent has been penalized.

Legal action was taken against a driver in Tashkent city who drove a Tesla car at high speed, reaching up to 214 km/h. The deputy head of the Information and Multimedia Center of the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department reported this.

 

The video capturing the incident had previously circulated on social media, sparking widespread discussion. Users emphasized that such actions pose a serious danger to the lives of other road users and demanded that authorities take measures.

 

It was reported that the car driver was summoned by officers of the Search Department of the Tashkent City Road Safety Directorate.

 

In his statement, the driver expressed regret for driving at high speed.

 

“I am the owner of the Tesla car. The video of me driving at high speed went viral on social media. Regarding this, I was summoned to the city search department. They are now taking legal action. I do not recommend anyone to drive this fast; drive slowly, be careful. I regret what I did,” he said.

 

The report noted that appropriate measures were taken against the driver. However, the specific nature of the measures applied was not clarified.
