Reports have spread that an electrical substation located in the Olmazor district of Tashkent city has exploded. The Tashkent City Department of Emergency Situations has provided official information regarding the situation.

 

According to the information, on June 1 at 18:57, a report was received that a transformer was burning on the premises of a substation located on Kichik Halqa Yo'li Street in the Olmazor district.

 

Following this, fire-rescue crews arrived at the scene at 19:01. The fire was contained at 19:12 and fully extinguished at 19:17.

 

According to preliminary data, there were no injuries as a result of the incident. The situation has been brought under control by the Tashkent City Department of Emergency Situations.

 

According to the "Uzbekistan National Electric Networks" JSC report, due to this malfunction at the 110 kV "Vistovochnaya" substation, networks connected to the 6 kV equipment exiting this energy facility were left without voltage.

 

As a result, interruptions in electricity supply are being observed for consumers in certain areas of the Shayxontohur and Olmazor districts.

 

A special team is engaged in identifying the cause of the malfunction and carrying out work to eliminate it.
