The accident occurred because the Tico driver, coming from a secondary road, failed to give way to a vehicle on the main road.
In the Nurota district of Navoiy region, a road traffic accident involving a Tico and a Sinotruk brand truck resulted in one fatality. This was reported by the regional Traffic Safety Department announced.
According to the information, the incident occurred on June 3 at around 08:30 on the 86th kilometer of the D-191 Kyzylkum ring road, passing through the territory of the "Tinchlik" mahalla citizens' assembly.
It was determined that the Tico driver, exiting from a secondary road, failed to yield to a vehicle on the main road and collided with a Sinotruk truck. As a result, the passenger car collided with the Sinotruk brand truck.
As a result of the accident, the Tico driver sustained severe bodily injuries and was admitted to the intensive care unit of the district hospital. However, despite the medical assistance provided by doctors, it was not possible to save his life.
Following the incident, a meeting was held with the residents of the mahalla, and issues of ensuring road traffic safety were discussed.
Also, during the mobile reception, relevant instructions were given to officials regarding the implementation of proposals made by citizens to improve road infrastructure.
