Six citizens of Uzbekistan who found themselves in a difficult material and social situation in the Republic of Bulgaria have been returned to their homeland. The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul reported this.
It was reported that the necessary consular, legal, and organizational measures were taken for the return of the citizens. As a result, they were repatriated to Uzbekistan on a humanitarian basis on June 16 and arrived safely in the arms of their family members.
The relevant authorities urged citizens going abroad for work to carefully study information about employers and intermediary organizations in advance, formalize labor contracts in accordance with the law, and seek employment only through official and reliable sources.
It was emphasized that trusting suspicious offers and going abroad without documents could expose citizens to complex legal and social problems.
