They were carrying out painting work on the second underground floor of the construction site.

In the Mirobod district of Tashkent city, 3 workers who were working in the basement of a construction site were rescued. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported this.
It was reported that on June 22, around 18:30, a message was received via the 112 system that the condition of workers carrying out painting work in the basement of the second floor of a building under construction on Taras Shevchenko Street had worsened due to the smell emanating from the paint.
Rescuers from the Tashkent City Department of Emergency Situations, who arrived at the scene promptly, removed the citizens from the pit and provided them with first aid.
After that, they were handed over to emergency medical personnel.
It was noted that as a result of the prompt actions of the rescuers, the lives of three citizens were saved.
