Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed condolences to the Emir of Qatar regarding the victims of the explosion.
At least 13 people have died as a result of an explosion at a gas complex in Qatar.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a message of condolence to the Emir of the State of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, regarding the numerous casualties and serious injuries resulting from a powerful explosion and fire at a gas processing complex in the Ras Laffan industrial zone.
In the letter of condolence, the head of state expressed deep sympathy to the families and loved ones of the deceased and wished for a speedy recovery for the injured.
At least 13 people were killed and 66 others were injured as a result of the explosion and fire at the gas export complex in Qatar's Ras Laffan industrial area.
According to reports, the incident occurred while workers were attempting to restore operations at a facility that had been shut down due to Iranian attacks. According to QatarEnergy, the explosion took place at the Barzan gas supply complex.
Qatar's Energy Minister, Saad Sherida al-Kaabi, stated that the incident was not related to sabotage or other hostile actions. The deceased were citizens of India and Pakistan, while the injured include citizens of Qatar as well as various countries in Africa and Asia.
It is noted that Qatar is one of the world's largest producers of natural gas. Therefore, it is reported that the explosion in Ras Laffan could also impact global energy markets.
In March, an Iranian rocket landed in the Ras Laffan area, causing a fire and significant damage to the facility. Subsequently, Qatar halted production in that area.
