According to the report, farewell ceremonies for the late supreme leader of the country, Ali Khamenei, will take place in Iran and Iraq from July 4 to 9.
The Vice President of Turkey, as well as the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, former President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Iraq Nizar Amidi, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Georgia Mikheil Kavelashvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Yermek Kosherbayev, and Chairman of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan Marlen Mamtaliyev have also visited Iran to participate in the farewell ceremony.
It has been reported that Khamenei's body is being kept at the "Imam Khomeini al-Musalla" complex. Between 12 million and 20 million people are expected to attend the ceremonies.
Organizational measures include setting up thousands of camps for pilgrims, accommodating over one million foreign guests, and managing the flow of people in the center of Tehran.
