A fund for the development and support of fisheries will be established.
A joint faculty in the field of fisheries and aquaculture will be established through the cooperation of Tashkent State Agrarian University and Dalian University of China.

The Fisheries Development and Support Fund will be established in Uzbekistan. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Legal Information" in a post.
According to the document, the new fund will operate under the relevant center based on the Fisheries Development Fund of the "Uzbekbaliqsanoat" association.
Additionally, by May 1, 2027, the "e-baliq" electronic platform will be launched, enabling a unified system for recording water resource usage, fish production volume, feed consumption, applied technologies, and leased water bodies in fisheries.
In accordance with the decree, starting from the 2027/2028 academic year, a joint faculty in fisheries and aquaculture will be established in cooperation with Tashkent State Agrarian University and China's Dalian University.
Up to 50 applicants will be admitted annually to this faculty based on state grants. The educational process will be organized under the "2+1" model, and admission quotas will be approved annually in accordance with the parameters of the state order.
