In Uzbekistan, the gas supply to 220,000 households will be improved.
711.9 kilometers of gas network and 400 gas distribution points will be repaired and reconstructed.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed information on preparations for the 2026–2027 autumn-winter season in the oil and gas sector here.
The presentation examined comprehensive measures developed to ensure stable energy supply to the population, social facilities, and economic sectors. Issues such as natural and liquefied gas delivery, repair of main and regional gas networks, formation of fuel reserves, and ensuring the readiness of emergency recovery teams were discussed.
It was reported that before the autumn-winter season, 53.7 kilometers of defective sections of main gas pipelines will be replaced, and 77 gas pumping units at compressor stations will undergo major repairs.
Additionally, to improve gas supply to 220,000 households in 881 neighborhoods, the three-stage gas distribution system will be converted to a two-stage system. A total of 711.9 kilometers of gas networks and 400 gas distribution points will be reconstructed and undergo major repairs.
During the autumn-winter season, it is planned to deliver 325,700 tons of liquefied gas to the population. In particular, 8,200 tons of liquefied gas are designated for delivery to 104,700 consumers in 229 hard-to-reach villages.
Fuel reserves are also being formed for the winter season. According to plans, a reserve of 120,000 tons of gasoline will be created for December–January, and 4,161,000 tons of coal will be delivered to thermal power plants during the season.
Furthermore, repair work will be carried out on 90 technological units at enterprises within the "Uzbekneftegaz" system. It was noted that this will ensure the continuous operation of production capacities and stable delivery of energy resources.
The President emphasized that preparatory work should not be limited to the oil and gas sector but must be carried out in close coordination with the energy and utility sectors. In this regard, relevant instructions were given to those responsible for coordinating the activities of republican and regional commissions, strictly monitoring the implementation of outlined measures, and completing preparations for the autumn-winter season on time.
