The head of state spoke with young people who were playing sports here.
The area of the "Do'stlik" neighborhood currently covers 28 hectares. There are 33 multi-story buildings, a private preschool educational organization, a football field, 16 sports and children's playgrounds, and a library.
This year, entrepreneurs invested 1.1 billion soums, establishing 10 service facilities and 1 public catering outlet. As a result, 25 new jobs were created. Also, using the funds of the initiators, "Vatanparvar Bog'i" (Patriot's Park) was built. Samples of military equipment were installed there, and service facilities were constructed.

Using funds from the "Initiative Budget", the Bekobod City Museum was established on the territory of the neighborhood. A wooden summer pavilion was erected in the neighborhood for the rest of the elderly and labor veterans, as well as for holding meetings, roundtable discussions, and spiritual-educational events.

"All our work, the facilities and projects we are building, must first and foremost serve the population and improve people's lives. People must feel the changes taking place in their neighborhood and city, and see their benefits in their daily lives.
Every time we visit the regions, people must feel the breath of the New Uzbekistan reforms, the breeze of its renewal and development. Bekobod city, with its hardworking and dedicated population, talented youth, and experienced elders, should also become an even more prosperous and developed place.
We will mobilize all opportunities to realize the dreams and aspirations of our youth, and the good intentions and goals of our elders," the President said.
