The fine imposed on a girl in Sirdarya whose former coach harassed her has been overturned.
The coach was detained for 5 days. The girl had been fined for shouting in the avenue.

In the Saykhunabad district of Sirdarya region, the administrative fine imposed on an 18-year-old girl who was subjected to sexual harassment by her former coach, for petty hooliganism, was overturned by the appellate instance. The courts of Sirdarya region reported this.
According to court documents, the incident occurred on July 17, 2026, in a park located in the "Shodlik" neighborhood of Saykhunabad district. S.Kh., who worked as a coach at a sports school, met a girl who had previously been his student, made a sexual proposition to her, and subjected her to sexual harassment. The girl became angry, got into an argument with S.Kh., and shouted at him.
The Saykhunabad district court found S.Kh. guilty under Article 41-1 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (sexual harassment) and sentenced him to 5 days of administrative detention.
At the same time, the girl was found guilty under Article 183 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (petty hooliganism) for shouting in the park, and a fine of three times the base calculation amount — 1 million 236 thousand soums — was imposed on her.
Subsequently, an appeal against this decision was reviewed by the appellate instance of the Sirdarya regional court. The court overturned the first-instance decision regarding the girl.
As noted in the appellate instance's ruling, there is no element of an administrative offense in the girl's actions. Therefore, the administrative case against her was dismissed under Part 1 of Article 271 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.
Additionally, the regional court submitted relevant submissions against the prevention inspector of the internal affairs body who conducted the inquiry actions in the administrative case, as well as against the investigative judge of the Saykhunabad district court who heard the case.
