On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence, Turkish scholar Kemal Yavuz Ataman's book "The Uzbekistan I Know" has been published.

 

 

The publication was prepared in Uzbek and Turkish within the framework of the "Envoys of Enlightenment" project, implemented in cooperation with the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, the "Ma'rifat" Society of Propagandists, and the Institute for Social and Spiritual Research.

 

 

The book compiles the author's observations formed on the basis of his visits to Uzbekistan since 1991, scientific expeditions, archival research, and interactions with the local population.

 

 

The work highlights the reforms being implemented in New Uzbekistan, the country's development, cultural heritage and national values, as well as Uzbekistan's place on the international stage, through the eyes of a foreign scholar.

 

 

The book presentation was attended by representatives of state and public organizations, scholars, academics, intellectuals, writers and translators, the diplomatic corps, media representatives, students, and members of the public.
