A training exercise was held in Tashkent on ensuring safety in air transport.

On the initiative of Tashkent International Airport, a large-scale training exercise was organized aimed at testing the preparedness of aviation search and rescue services for emergency situations. This was reported in the "Zamon" information-analytical program.

It was reported that the exercise was held at the Airborne Forces Retraining Center under the Ministry of Defense. According to the scenario, a conditional signal was given about an aircraft crash in the area.

Upon receiving the signal, the search and rescue group of Tashkent International Airport gathered in the designated area within 10 minutes. Additionally, the Main Department of Emergency Situations of Tashkent region, firefighting vehicles, an operational search group from the Main Department of Internal Affairs, and emergency medical personnel were dispatched to the scene.

During the training exercise, search and rescue operations were carried out in the area of the conditional crash, the injured were evacuated to a safe zone, and first medical aid was provided to them. Also, extinguishing the conditional fire, taking the scene under security control, and the mutual cooperation of various services were practically tested.

According to the organizers, six units were activated based on a plan-schedule during the exercise. The conditional injured were rescued, provided with medical assistance, and delivered to the hospital.

Experts note that such comprehensive exercises serve to make prompt decisions in emergency situations, effectively organize search and rescue operations, and strengthen cooperation between various agencies.

It is planned to conduct such exercises regularly in order to increase the practical preparedness of search and rescue services and ensure constant readiness for actions in possible emergency situations.
