A new apartment was provided to the family of a rescuer who died while performing his duty in the Koson district of the Kashkadarya region. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported this.
On the eve of the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence, the Minister of Emergency Situations, Major General Azizbek Ikramov, solemnly handed over the keys to a three-room apartment with all amenities to the family of the deceased ordinary soldier Omonturdiyev Eldor Ismoil o'g'li.
At the event, it was emphasized that the heroic rescuer served selflessly for the interests of the Motherland and the people, and that it is important to show respect and honor to his memory.
It was noted that the new apartment was a practical expression of the attention and care being shown to the family members of the deceased.
Earlier, in accordance with the President's decree of August 22, on August 15, the Ministry of Emergency Situations employee Boburmirzo Pardayev, who died while rescuing citizens during a fire in the Uchtepa district of Tashkent, and traffic police officer Khayitbek Karimjonov, who died as a result of being hit by a car driven by a drunk driver while performing his duty in the Fergana region, were posthumously awarded the "Jasorat" medal.
