President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will be in Bishkek on August 31 – September 1.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, upon the invitation of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, will be in Bishkek on August 31 – September 1 for a working visit to participate in the next meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states and the meeting in the "SCO Plus" format will take place.

 

The summit agenda includes topical issues on further developing multifaceted cooperation within the SCO framework and improving the organization's activities. Issues of international and regional cooperation will also be discussed.

 

At the end of the meeting, it is planned to adopt the Bishkek Declaration dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the SCO, as well as a package of documents aimed at expanding partnership in security, economy, transport, ecology, artificial intelligence, cultural-humanitarian exchange, and many other areas of cooperation.

 

Within the framework of the summit, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will hold a number of bilateral meetings with heads of foreign delegations.

 

According to the visit program, the leader of Uzbekistan will also participate in the opening ceremony of the VI World Nomad Games.
