The Prime Minister of India was awarded the "Order of Highest Friendship".

A ceremony of awarding the "Order of Distinguished Friendship" of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Prime Minister of the Republic of India, Narendra Modi, was held at the Koksaroy residence.

 

 

As noted, India's rapid development in recent years and its ever-growing influence on the international stage are directly linked to the effective activities of the country's leader. Thanks to successful programs and strategies, modern India is achieving epoch-making accomplishments in all spheres.

 

 

As President Shavkat Mirziyoyev presented the prestigious award, he noted that this decision is an expression of the high respect of the people and state of Uzbekistan for the invaluable contribution of the Indian Prime Minister to strengthening the age-old bonds of friendship between the two nations.

 

 

As a result of this historic visit and the fruitful negotiations held, it was possible to elevate relations between the friendly countries to the level of comprehensive strategic partnership.

 

 

It was noted with satisfaction that, as a result of joint efforts, ties in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, investment, transport, and cultural-humanitarian spheres have been brought to a new qualitative level.

 

 

Confidence was expressed that this award will further develop mutually beneficial cooperation between the two nations.
