Twelve minor citizens of Uzbekistan who were deprived of parental care or found themselves in a difficult social situation in various regions of Russia have been returned to their homeland. The “Dunyo” news agency reported on this.

 

The children were brought back through the cooperation of representatives of Uzbekistan's Embassy in Russia, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health, and the National Agency for Social Protection.

 

It was noted that 8 of the children were brought from the Moscow region, one from the Chuvash Republic, one from the city of Moscow, one from the Novosibirsk region, and another one from the city of Tula.

 

During the process of returning them to their homeland, issues related to identity verification, processing of necessary documents, and medical examinations were resolved.

 

According to the data, in January–August 2026, a total of 38 minor citizens of Uzbekistan who were deprived of parental care or fell into a difficult social situation were returned to their homeland from various regions of Russia.

 

Currently, the necessary documents are being prepared to bring another 22 children to Uzbekistan.
